Episode 00: ”Day of the Info Dump-ster” (Introduction to The Power Trip Podcast)

A journey of 29 seasons begins with a single episode. Michael Hamilton (Kaiju Weekly, The Kaiju Groupie Podcast) and Nathan Marchand (The Monster Island Film Vault, Henshin Men) begin their “power trip” (see what we did there?) through the Power Rangers franchise by introducing themselves, the show’s format, and the goals of the podcast. You’ll hear Michael wax nostalgic about growing up with the “Teenagers with Attitude” while Nathan explains how he’ll apply his “English major analytical skills” in each episode (because hero stories matter). Finally, they explain the awards they’ll give in each episode to things like the best one-liner and best fight scene. Yes, they stole them from Nathan’s other podcast, Henshin Men, but according to Michael, this is “the formula perfected.” It’s morphin’ time, listeners with attitude!
